Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare is seeking a locum tenens physician for assignments across hospitals and clinics in Georgia. The role includes performing procedures such as paracentesis, thoracentesis, CT/US-guided biopsies, lumbar punctures, nephrostomy, embolization, drain insertions, chest tubes, and fluoroscopy.

Night call rotation and weekend coverage are part of the schedule. Competitive compensation is offered with paid malpractice insurance and pre-paid travel and housing expenses.

Responsibilities

• Perform paracentesis, thoracentesis, CT/US-guided biopsies, and lumbar punctures
• Perform nephrostomy, embolization, drain insertion, chest tubes, and fluoroscopy
• Provide patient care under locum tenens assignments with 24-hour support from Weatherby consultant
• Maintain hospital privileges and coordinate with facilities for coverage
• Manage time entry and assignment details through online portal

Job description

M-F 8 am - 5 pm with night call rotation and 24-hour weekend coverage.
