Job summary

Baptist Health Georgetown Emergency Department is seeking a Registered Nurse for PRN third shift coverage. The ED RN will provide comprehensive nursing care, assess patient needs, develop and implement care plans, and coordinate delivery with the healthcare team.

Responsibilities include direct patient care, leadership in the ED, and contributing to quality and patient satisfaction through a compassionate healing environment.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure or work permit in Kentucky.
• BSN or ADN from an accredited college/university.
• ADN with <10 years experience must enroll in BSN within 12 months and complete within 5 years.
• BLS certification required; if not certified, obtain within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS/PALS/NRP and dysrhythmia class completed as department requires.

Requirements ED-RN

• Applicants with an associate degree in nursing and less than 10 years of experience must enroll within 12 months of hire in a bachelor's degree program and must have achieved the degree within 5 years.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required. If not already certified, must obtain BLS within 30 days of their hire date.
• ACLS/PALS/NRP and successful completion of dysrhythmia class as required by department of assignment.
