Job summary

Baptist Health Georgetown is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department on a PRN mid shift. You will provide professional nursing care, assess patients, develop care plans, and lead delivery of care in a fast-paced ED setting.

The ideal candidate holds Kentucky RN licensure (BSN or ADN), BLS, and department-specific certifications (ACLS/PALS/NRP). Strong leadership and patient-centered care are essential to support safety and quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current Kentucky RN licensure or work permit.
• Bachelor's or associate degree in nursing from an accredited college.
• If ADN with <10 years experience, enroll in BSN within 12 months and complete within 5 years.
• BLS certification required; obtain within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS/PALS/NRP and dysrhythmia training may be required per department.

• Applicants with an associate degree in nursing and less than 10 years of experience must enroll within 12 months of hire in a bachelor's degree program and must have achieved the degree within 5 years.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required. If not already certified, must obtain BLS within 30 days of their hire date.
• ACLS/PALS/NRP and successful completion of dysrhythmia class as required by department of assignment.
