AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Geomaticist / Survey Technician in Houston/Austin to perform field and office geomatics tasks, including data processing, mapping, and deliverables preparation under supervision of a Registered Professional Land Surveyor. You will work with licensed professionals and multidisciplinary teams on diverse projects.

Required LSIT certification and a Bachelor's in Geomatics or related field, plus 2 years of experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Geomatics, Land Surveying, Engineering, or a related discipline, plus two (2) years of professional experience as a Geomaticist, Survey Technician, or in a related surveying role.
• LSIT certification is required.

Responsabilités

• Perform research and assist with boundary analysis and survey calculations under the direct supervision of a Registered Professional Land Surveyor (RPLS).
• Review and interpret field notes, process survey data, extract features from point clouds, and prepare accurate survey mapping deliverables.
• Prepare legal descriptions, exhibits, plats, and other survey-related documentation.
• Assist with the preparation of preliminary reports, project cost estimates, and labor-hour estimates.
• Coordinate and provide direction to technicians and support staff, as needed.
• Support project teams in the delivery of high-quality surveying and geomatics services.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
