Job summary

Vanasse Hangen Brustlin Inc. (VHB) seeks an experienced Geomatics Manager to lead the Orlando/Tampa region. The role emphasizes project and program leadership, growing a capable team, and delivering high-quality land surveying and reality capture work.

The candidate will manage diverse client projects, leverage GPS, total stations, UAS and LiDAR technologies, and ensure excellence in QA/QC across deliverables, while collaborating with leadership to drive growth and innovation.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience managing Survey/Geomatics projects, including client/staff management.
• BS in Survey Engineering, Geomatics, GIS, Engineering, Reality Capture, or related field.
• Licensed Land Surveyor in Florida is required.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, MS Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, and Bluebeam.

Responsibilities

• Develops and directs service line strategies aligned with the firm’s plan and local business priorities.
• Oversees hiring, training, and career development within the group.
• Manages full project life cycles from scoping to delivery and ensures quality across all deliverables.
• Promotes use of advanced survey technologies such as UAS, LiDAR, GPS, and terrestrial scanning.
