WSP USA invites talented undergraduates to apply for the Geology Intern – Summer 2027 in Irvine, CA or San Diego, CA. This full-time summer internship is part of the Earth & Environment team and supports real projects under senior staff.

The 12-week program starts May 17, 2027. Interns gain hands-on experience, mentorship, and opportunities to develop technical writing, data analysis, and field work while exploring career paths at WSP.

Qualifications

• Active enrollment in Geology, Environmental Science, or related undergraduate program with Aug 2027 or later graduation.
• Interest in geology, environmental science, and related field, aiming to develop skills for WSP projects.
• Ability to work with mentors and communicate professionally to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Support environmental tasks to develop technical, social, and ethical skills.
• Learn geology and environmental science principles on real projects.
• Assist with research, field work, data analysis, and reporting.
• Assist in collecting and maintaining project documentation and drawings/maps.
• Complete training on assigned tasks and adhere to WSP policies.
