Job summary

Broadbent & Associates, Inc., based in Reno, Nevada, seeks a full-time Project Geologist II or Project Environmental Scientist II to oversee diverse environmental projects in Nevada and California.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in geology, hydrogeology, environmental science, or related field.
• Five or more years of experience in geological assessments, water supply/modeling, environmental assessments and remediation projects in public/private sectors.
• Consulting experience and strong knowledge of federal/state environmental regulations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review work plans, technical documents, and reports for regulatory agencies.
• Prepare and review proposals for federal, state, and local clients.
• Develop the scope of environmental assessment and remediation projects and manage within budget.
• Conduct field visits to drive project execution and ensure health and safety procedures.
• Review supplier work proposals and invoices; interpret data and prepare reports.
• Assist with marketing and business development; mentor junior staff.
