Job summary

WSP is seeking an Experienced Geologist/Hydrogeologist to join our Redmond, WA, Seattle, WA, or Portland, OR offices. You will work on environment, remediation, and water projects within a growing team, delivering technical analyses and model development.

The role requires 5+ years in geology/hydrogeology, experience with Leapfrog software, strong communication, and the ability to travel as needed. Join a collaborative, client-focused firm with opportunities across the western U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Hydrology, or Engineering.
• Min 3 years: geologic models and conceptual site models using Leapfrog Geo/Leapfrog Works by Seequent.
• Min 5 years’ experience; preferably in a consulting practice.
• Strong knowledge of physical geology and hydrogeology.
• English fluency and strong communication skills.
• Proficiency with soil and rock logging; groundwater sampling and testing.
• Preferred: PE/PG/LHg licensure and/or MSc/PhD in related fields.

Responsibilities

• Provide interpretation of subsurface conditions and develop conceptual geologic models.
• Analyze geologic and hydrogeological data and prepare reports.
• Support investigations, groundwater testing, and numerical groundwater modeling.
• Build long-term client relationships with quality, cost-targeted consulting services.
• Participate in business development: client contact, proposals, and society involvement.
• Serve as internal technical resource to ensure quality within WSP.
