Job summary

WSP USA is seeking an Experienced Geologist/Hydrogeologist for Redmond, WA, Seattle, WA, or Portland, OR offices. You will interpret subsurface conditions, build geologic models, and support investigations with hydrogeologic testing and reporting.

Responsibilities include client engagement and delivering quality, cost-conscious consulting services. Ideal candidates have a Geology/Hydrology/Engineering degree, 1+ year Leapfrog experience, strong communication skills, and ability to travel as

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Hydrology, or Engineering.
• 1+ year experience developing geologic models and conceptual site models with Leapfrog Geo/Leapfrog Works.
• 1+ year experience; preferably in consulting.
• Strong knowledge of physical geology and hydrogeology.
• Familiarity with soil and rock logging procedures.
• Experience with groundwater sampling, well installation, and hydraulic conductivity testing.
• Understanding of conceptual site model development.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; English fluency.
• MS Word/Excel proficiency.
• Good work ethic with organization/time management.
• Willingness to travel on project needs.

Responsibilities

• Interpret subsurface conditions and develop geologic models using Leapfrog.
• Analyze geologic and hydrogeologic data and prepare reports.
• Provide technical support for investigations, testing, visualization and modeling.
• Maintain client relationships with quality and cost-conscious service.
• Lead or support business development activities, including proposals.
• Serve as internal technical resource for quality review.
