About the Role

You will work closely with reservoir engineers and geophysicists to build integrated subsurface models and provide critical geological insights that drive strategic investment decisions. Key Responsibilities

• Interpret geological data from seismic surveys, well logs, and core samples to define prospectivity.
• Develop and refine geological models for existing and potential hydrocarbon reservoirs.
• Conduct geological risk assessments and contribute to the economic evaluation of exploration and development projects.
• Collaborate with geophysicists and reservoir engineers to create integrated subsurface interpretations.
• Prepare geological reports, presentations, and recommendations for management and joint venture partners.
• Potentially participate in field trips and site visits for data acquisition and validation in the Welkom area.

Requirements
