Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC) in Greenville, SC invites applicants for a Geologist/Environmental Scientist to support environmental compliance monitoring and field activities.

You will lead field sampling for groundwater, surface water, sediment, air, and soil, oversee soil borings and bedrock coring, and assist in reporting and data interpretation. The role emphasizes teamwork, regulatory knowledge, and quality data.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Geology, or Environmental Engineering (or equivalent).
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
• Ability to work effectively with teams and independently.
• Willingness to take training courses and certifications in specialized areas.

Mansioni

• Collect, analyze, and prepare raw data for project reports, plans, permits, estimates, and documents.
• Participate in field work and assist with field sampling and monitoring tasks.
• Coordinate tasks with staff and report progress to project leadership.
• Maintain knowledge of engineering design principles, regulatory programs, and field standards.
• Evaluate new techniques to improve efficiency and project results.
