Job summary

Tetra Tech in Houston is seeking an Entry to Mid-Level Staff Scientist/Geologist to contribute to geological and environmental projects, including due diligence, site assessment, remediation, and reporting. The role supports senior engineers and scientists while gaining experience across oil and gas related work.

Responsibilities include data analysis, technical writing, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams in regulated environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Geology required; entry‑level up to five years of experience.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Google Earth, and Adobe Acrobat software.
• Must be able to work effectively with other technical professionals.

Responsibilities

• Review, comprehension, and completion of work scopes.
• Perform project tasks on public and private sector environmental projects.
• Assist in preparation of subcontract documents, work plans and reports under direction of senior engineers and scientists.
• Assist in data tabulation and evaluation.
• Assist with technical writing reports and preparation.
