Qualifications

• Masters degree in geology, metallurgical engineering, or related field with 6+ years experience or PhD with 4+ years of related experience.
• Experience engaging program sponsors at DOE, industry, and other federal agencies.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE Q clearance (US Citizenship required).
• Experience conducting technical research and contributing to R&D strategy.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct geological/geochemical field studies and data collection.
• Develop research programs for novel comminution and beneficiation methods.
• Collaborate with geologists, chemists, engineers, and scientists to integrate feedstocks and processing methods.
• Pursue funding through proposals and industry partnerships.
• Publish peer‑reviewed results and present at conferences.
