Qualifications

• Advanced degree with 6+ years (MS) or 4+ years (PhD) of related experience.
• Experience in establishing and guiding R&D strategy and sponsor engagement.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE "Q" clearance (US Citizenship required).
• Proven track record of peer-reviewed publications and conference presentations.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct geological or geochemical field studies, sampling, and testing programs.
• Plan and execute research on novel comminution and beneficiation methods for critical materials.
• Collaborate with geologists, chemists, engineers, and scientists to integrate feedstocks and downstream processing methods.
• Actively pursue funding through proposals and industry partnerships.
• Write peer-reviewed publications and technical reports and present results to sponsors and peers.
