Job summary

WSP USA’s Earth and Environment Team is offering a Geological Engineering Intern - Summer 2027 to work at the Lakewood, CO office, with consideration for St. Louis, MO and Tucson, AZ.

This 12-week internship targets undergrad or graduate students seeking hands-on experience alongside senior staff. Interns gain exposure to real projects, perform field work and preliminary design tasks, and develop technical, social, and ethical skills while traveling as required.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in Geological Engineering or Geotechnical Engineering, undergraduate with graduation Aug 2027+.
• Authorized to work in the United States at internship start.
• Strong communication and writing skills for engineering audiences.
• Able to follow directions from mentors and leadership with professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Assist Geological engineering tasks to develop technical and ethical skills.
• Contribute to field work, project research, and preliminary design calculations.
• Support preparation of design plans, provisions, and cost estimates.
• Maintain project documentation and assist with data collection.
