The National Energy Technology Laboratory (NETL) Pittsburgh campus, through the Oak Ridge Institute for Science and Education (ORISE), seeks participants for a Geologic Hydrogen project in the Research Innovation Center. Open to recent graduates and current students to engage in challenging energy research under mentor guidance.

Participants will design, build, and operate a high-temperature, high-pressure core-flood system to measure real-time hydrogen production and monitor rock permeability,

Responsabilidades

• Gain practical experience constructing and operating high-temperature, high-pressure experimental apparatus.
• Explore high-pressure flow systems, core-flooding techniques and reactive transport experiments.
• Develop independence and teamwork within a dynamic research environment.
