Job summary

CACI is seeking a Mid Systems Engineer to contribute on an Agile GEOINT program for NGA. You will own requirements, interfaces, and verification on real mission systems and work on-site with mission stakeholders and delivery teams.

You will grow your engineering depth with senior engineers and Government counterparts, collaborating across disciplines and contributing to design, V&V, and documentation.

Qualifications

• TS/SCI clearance required with ability to obtain Polygraph.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical discipline (equivalent experience accepted).
• 4+ years of systems engineering experience on software-intensive systems.
• Experience with requirements analysis, interface documentation, and V&V support.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical writing skills.
• Experience working within Agile development environments.
• Ability to work on-site at a Government facility.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, decompose, and manage requirements and traceability across program capabilities.
• Develop and maintain interface documentation and support cross-system coordination.
• Produce system design artifacts, diagrams, and engineering documentation.
• Support verification and validation activities including test planning and execution.
• Conduct root cause analysis on system issues and develop technical solutions.
• Coordinate engineering tasks with development teams and Government stakeholders.
• Guide and support junior engineers on established engineering processes.
