Job summary

NV5 seeks a SAR Analyst to provide operational support for GEOINT derived from active sensor data at NASIC/NSIC, Wright-Patterson AFB in Dayton, OH. You will exploit SAR data, produce intelligence products, and collaborate with SAR scientists to improve workflows.

Required are a STEM degree and 2+ years of SAR analysis, plus an active TS clearance with SCI eligibility. Strong writing skills and MS Office experience are essential; travel is <20%.

Qualifications

• STEM degree required. Master/PhD preferred in sciences or engineering.
• 2+ years of SAR analysis experience.
• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
• Strong technical writing and briefing skills; MS Office proficiency.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate GEOINT tools to analyze and disseminate SAR-derived GEOINT products.
• Perform non-literal exploitation of active sensor data (SAR).
• Combine results with contextual research to provide meaningful interpretation.
• Conduct QA/QC on own and team products prior to dissemination.
• Collaborate with SAR scientists to optimize data exploitation and automation opportunities.
• Identify steps in workflows that can be automated.
• Complete required security and sensor discipline training.
