Job summary

Select Search Associates LLC invites a skilled Cloud & DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and sustain an enterprise IV&V platform for GEOINT products. You will build scalable cloud infrastructure, secure CI/CD pipelines, and container orchestration, aligning with security and enterprise architecture requirements.

You will work with government stakeholders and software teams to automate verification capabilities, monitor performance, and optimize costs in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field with 9+ years of relevant experience or Master's with 7+ years.
• NGA domain experience with deployment into CORE/RLE is highly preferred.
• Experience designing and administering enterprise cloud environments using AWS.
• Experience IaC with Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi, or equivalents.
• CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar.
• Containerized apps deployment with Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, or similar.
• DevSecOps practices, automated security scanning, and secure delivery pipelines.
• Strong scripting in Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar.
• Monitoring/observability using Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, Elasticsearch/Kibana.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain secure cloud-native infrastructure for the enterprise GEOINT IV&V platform.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code for provisioning and lifecycle management.
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated builds, tests, security scans, and deployments.
• Deploy and administer containerized apps using Kubernetes, OpenShift, Docker, or similar.
• Automate delivery, configuration, and operations workflows with industry tooling.
• Incorporate automated security scanning and DevSecOps throughout the SDLC.
• Configure cloud networking, storage, compute, identity, and access controls.
• Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and dashboards for reliability.
• Support data services for GEOINT metric collection, storage, visualization, analytics.
• Optimize resource utilization and cost; ensure scalability and performance.
