Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Software Engineer / Data Science Librarian to manage GEOINT databases, optimize data ingest and validation scripts, and ensure secure, accurate dissemination of geospatial products. The role spans Perl, Python/Java, SQL, and C++ with ArcGIS and Oracle Spatial, across multiple offices and security domains.

The ideal candidate will engage with stakeholders, deliver technical briefings, and maintain high data integrity while supporting end-to-end software operations for GEOINT

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of relevant experience (or Master's with 6+ years).
• Security+ certification is required or considered.
• Experience designing and supporting databases with geospatial components.
• Strong scripting and software engineering background across multiple languages.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize GEOINT databases for product dissemination.
• Develop and optimize data ingest and validation scripts and stored procedures.
• Render maps in ESRI ArcGIS and apply layers for visualization.
• Collaborate across offices and security domains to ensure data integrity and secure dissemination.
