Job summary

PatchPlus Consulting, Inc. seeks a Data Scientist with GEOINT experience to leverage advanced analytics, ML, and geospatial methods. You will work with geospatial, imagery, sensor, and intelligence data to support mission-critical decision-making and planning.

The role requires a strong foundation in data science and geospatial analysis, with the ability to transform data into actionable intelligence for technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI security clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in relevant fields.
• 8+ years in intelligence, data science, or geospatial analysis (11+ years with degree).
• Proficiency in Python, R, SQL.
• Experience with ML, statistical modeling, and predictive analytics.
• Knowledge of GIS tools such as ArcGIS, QGIS, ENVI.
• Experience with geospatial databases and spatial data formats.
• Strong data visualization skills.
• Ability to communicate complex findings to diverse audiences.
• Cloud platforms experience (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain statistical and ML models for structured and unstructured data.
• Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends and correlations.
• Design and automate data pipelines for ingestion and processing.
• Evaluate and improve model performance through validation and optimization.
• Analyze geospatial, imagery, remote sensing data to produce actionable intelligence.
• Integrate multiple intelligence sources and datasets.
• Develop geospatial models and workflows for situational awareness and planning.
• Create maps, visualizations, dashboards, and intelligence products for stakeholders.
• Communicate findings through reports and briefs, translating results into actionable recommendations.
• Support cross-functional teams in identifying data-driven opportunities.
