Job summary

MSD is seeking an Associate Director, Geography Lead to oversee data-management operations within the assigned geography, ensuring compliant, high-quality results and staff development. You will align teams with GDMS standards, forecast workloads, and manage budgets across studies while promoting best practices across sites.

The role requires 8+ years in organizational management in Biopharma or related fields, with at least 2 years in people management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a Life Science, Management or related field with a minimum of 8 years of organizational management experience; includes at least 2 years of people management.
• Advanced degree in a Life Science, Management or related field with a minimum of 4 years of organizational management experience; includes at least 2 years of people management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day data-management execution within the geography; ensure efficiency, quality, compliance and inspection readiness.
• Align teams with organizational goals; conduct regular check-ins and annual reviews; coach for performance and growth.
• Lead recruitment, hiring and onboarding; manage budgeting and resource optimization; drive high performance through mentorship.
