Job summary
Tarrant County College District (TCCD) invites applications for an Adjunct Instructor, Geographic Information Systems in TR Information Technology at Trinity River Campus. Reporting to the campus department instructional leader, adjunct instructors provide assistance to students by utilizing college resources and technologies, delivering instruction
Qualifications
- Required: Bachelor's degree or higher in GIS or closely related discipline
- OR Bachelor's in any discipline with eighteen GIS credit hours and 3 years GIS experience
Responsibilities
- Teach classes per varied schedules and modalities (Dual Credit, On-Campus, Online or Weekend College) as assigned
- Accommodate student needs and external stakeholders' expectations of the College
- Deliver instruction using the College Master Syllabus and LMS
- Communicate regularly with students and college officials
- Prepare assignments and assessments to meet learning outcomes
- Maintain attendance records and finalize grades by deadlines
- Design a classroom environment conducive to student learning and success
- Identify and support student learning needs and outcomes
- Assist in college-wide assessment of student learning outcomes
- Accept assignments at other sites for dual credit courses
- Complete required training and professional development
- Attend workplace regularly and follow a work schedule
