Job summary

Woolpert seeks a GeoBase Operations Analyst to join our DAF GeoBase Operations team in San Antonio, Texas. This on-site role supports AFRIC GIS data management and enterprise capabilities for the Air Force Civil Engineer Center.

You will work with ArcGIS, Story Maps, Jira/Confluence, and end users to implement data standards, create maps, and enable data-driven decisions across installations and MAJCOM partners.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Bachelor’s degree and 2 years geospatial experience, or 4 years related experience in lieu of a degree.
• Active Tier 1 Investigation or ability to obtain security clearance.
• Background check and drug screening required.
• Extensive knowledge of Esri ArcGIS software including ArcGIS Desktop/Pro and Portal/AGOL.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain Air Force GIS data in a multi-user geodatabase.
• Perform QA/QC to meet DoD GIS data standards.
• Produce installation, range, and vicinity maps using cartographic techniques.
• Develop and maintain Esri ArcGIS Portal and Story Maps.
• Assist end users and provide GIS training for SDSFIE, GEOMAP, and GeoBase program objectives.
• Coordinate GeoBase dashboards and portal content across enterprise teams.
