PetVet Care Centers’ Statesboro Bulloch Regional Veterinary Hospital is seeking a Part-Time Kennel Assistant to join our team. You will support veterinarians and technicians, clean and maintain equipment, and help with feeding, exercising, restraining and handling pets.

Qualifications

• Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Standing/walking for long periods; ability to be on the move.
• Comfort around sick animals and cleaning chemicals.

Responsibilities

• Provides compassionate care to pets.
• Feeds animals as prescribed; records intake and outputs.
• Recognizes and reports unusual conditions and distress.
• Assists veterinarians and technicians with pet restraint.
• Maintains hospital cleanliness and sanitizes cages, wards, and facilities.
• Performs tasks as assigned by management.
