Job summary

The Illinois Department of Innovation & Technology (DoIT) seeks an Audit, Collections, & Discovery Specialist to support the IDOR GenTax system, performing limited application services and SQL-based tasks under guidance. Learn modern systems lifecycle methods while assisting senior staff in maintaining GenTax.

Minimum qualifications include two years of college in related fields or an approved agency training program.

Qualifications

• Two years of college with coursework in application services or related fields (or equivalent).
• Agency sponsored training program may suffice for qualification.

Responsibilities

• Assist higher level Application Services staff in maintaining GenTax system.
• Write SQL using SQL Server for business objects or stand-alone queries.
• Learn and apply modern systems methodology and structured lifecycle procedures.
• Pursue ongoing education to stay current with IT developments.
• Perform other duties as assigned within scope.
