Job summary

LiquidPiston Inc. is looking for a Mechanical Integration Engineer to join their genset application development team. This fully onsite role in Bloomfield, CT, aims to design and integrate advanced rotary engines into innovative gensets.

The ideal candidate will possess a BS in Mechanical Engineering and have over 2 years of experience in engine design and simulation. Benefits include flexible PTO, health coverage, and 401(k) matching.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in engine component/system design and simulation.
• Experience in integrating multiple subsystems into a full package.
• Strong understanding of internal combustion engine packaging and design for manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Generate and evaluate new ideas for engine packaging improvements.
• Create detailed part and assembly models using SolidWorks.
• Lead early-stage genset architecture and layout processes.
• Perform component and system-level analysis with simulations.
• Create and release production-ready technical drawings.
