Syngenta is seeking a Data Generation Team Lead for the Malta Genotyping lab to oversee a team of technicians executing genotyping protocols including library prep, PCR, and sequencing. You will manage documentation, inventory, and people, while leading continuous improvement across the platform to enhance capacity and reduce costs.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, strong lab skills, and experience in leadership within a professional lab environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in agriculture, biology, genetics or related field is required.
• Solid understanding of basic laboratory procedures and equipment.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Lead a Data Generation team and oversee genotyping protocols.
• Coordinate RealTime PCR, high-throughput PCR, and sequencing workflows.
• Support documentation, inventory, and people management.
• Drive continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives.
• Collaborate across regions and partner on new platforms.
