Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in medical laboratory science, chemical or biological science, or another accredited four-year degree meeting CLIA qualifications for high-complexity testing personnel.
• One year of experience in a genetics/genomics laboratory.
• ASCP certification in cytogenetics, molecular biology, or medical technology is preferred.

Come do great work on behalf of better health!**We're currently offering a $3,500 sign on bonus for this role!****POSITION SUMMARY**This position performs genetic/genomic testing in accordance with CAP (College of America Pathologists) standards in an accurate and timely manner. Testing may be of high complexity and may include:* Fluorescence In-Situ Hybridization (FISH)* Real-time Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR)* Cytogenetic chromosome analysis* Next Generation Sequencing (NGS)* Pharmacogenomics (PGx)* Chromosomal Microarray (CMA)Results of these tests, which may have significant clinical impact, are obtained through manual and automated processes.
