Job summary

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversees day-to-day department functions and ensures smooth operations per policies.
• Ensures compliance with hospital and regulatory policies.
• Develops and monitors departmental process improvement plans.
• Maintains records of daily operations and departmental documentation.
• Provides input on policies and attainment of operating goals.
• Collaborates with outside vendors, consultants or resources as needed.
• Submits revenue and financial reports to appropriate parties.
• Updates and maintains financial records for the department.
• Acts as a liaison to support services (Facilities, IT, etc.).
• Maintains supply inventory levels and participates in materials/supply chain tasks.
• Oversees administrative staff and coordinates activities.
• May train or mentor other staff members.
• Performs other duties as required.
