Job summary

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Master’s or Ph.D. in Molecular Biology, Genetics, Genomics, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Plant Sciences, or a related field.
• Experience with molecular biology laboratory techniques such as nucleic acid extraction, PCR, gel electrophoresis, or sample quality assessment.
• Interest in transcriptomics, gene expression analysis, and genomics technologies.
• Strong attention to detail and laboratory documentation skills.
• Ability to analyze data and communicate results effectively.

Responsibilities

• Perform RNA extraction and nucleic acid sample preparation from a variety of biological samples.
• Design experimental controls and assay selection automation.
• Conduct experiments to compare and improve sample processing methods.
• Assist with preparation of samples for downstream transcriptomic analyses, including sequencing-based applications.
• Maintain accurate laboratory records and analyze experimental results.
• Collaborate with scientists across molecular biology, genomics, and bioinformatics teams.
• Present project findings and recommendations to research teams.
