Advanced Group in Tucson, Arizona seeks a Bioinformatics Scientist to support R&D focused on genomic technologies and data-driven discovery. You will analyze complex biological data, develop bioinformatics workflows, and advance sequencing-based applications.

The ideal candidate combines strong computational expertise with molecular biology knowledge and next-gen sequencing experience, including scRNA-seq and multiomics concepts. Strong collaboration across disciplines is essential.

Qualifications

• PhD or MS/BS with relevant industry experience as specified.
• Proficiency in analyzing DNA and RNA sequencing data.
• Experience with scRNA-seq analysis and genomics concepts.

Responsibilities

• Analyze genomic, transcriptomic, and single-cell sequencing data.
• Develop and optimize bioinformatics pipelines and workflows.
• Collaborate with scientists to design studies and interpret data.
• Support assay development and data interpretation for experiments.
• Create clear visualizations and reports of findings.
• Maintain reproducible computational workflows and processes.
• Contribute to process improvements for efficiency and data quality.
