Job summary

Radical Numerics is an AI research lab focused on biology and genomics, building scalable infrastructure and interfaces for scientists. You will own pipelines, interfaces, and evaluation methods that transform model outputs into actionable insights for partners.

Collaborate with a product lead, ship weekly, and explain technical decisions in partner meetings. This role requires hands-on work across the stack and a strong background in genomics data and AI infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Python for data/model work.
• Experience with TypeScript/React for interfaces.
• Familiarity with real genomic data (VCFs, variants, annotations).

Responsibilities

• Develop the application surface for ownership, including interactive workbenches and variant scoring pipelines.
• Run models on partner data and present results with interpretability.
• Build evaluation infrastructure with held-out benchmarks and head-to-head comparisons.
• Present work directly in partner meetings and respond to technical objections.
• Ship features on a weekly cadence.
