University of Texas at Austin invites applications for a Genitourinary Reconstruction Urologist (GURS) within UT Health Austin/UT Medicine. The role focuses on building an ambitious GU reconstruction program, collaborating with plastic, colorectal, and gynecologic colleagues, and advancing education and research in a multidisciplinary setting.

Qualifications

• Medical degree required from an accredited medical school.
• Unrestricted medical license to practice in the State of Texas.
• Current ABU board certification, or eligible by exam pathway.
• Fellowship training in genitourinary reconstruction.
• Eligibility for appointment at Assistant, Associate, or full Professor rank at Dell Medical School/UT Austin.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a clinical content expert on genitourinary reconstruction as part of UT Health Austin and UT Medicine.
• Evolve and expand the genitourinary reconstruction program within Dell Medical School and affiliated sites.
• Develop partnerships with referring physicians, hospitals, and ancillary providers in Austin and Central Texas.
• Assist in training and managing the clinical team and participate in strategic planning.
• Contribute to data/evaluation infrastructure for quality and cost outcomes; mentor students and residents.
• Contribute to Undergraduate and Graduate Medical Education curricula related to genitourinary reconstruction.
