University of Miami Health System is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator 2 for Genitourinary (GU) studies in Miami, FL. This on-site, full-time role supports protocol implementation, participant screening, data collection and regulatory compliance across multiple study sites.

The position requires a bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of relevant experience, with a focus on collaboration, attention to detail and effective communication with study teams and sponsors.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, coordinating, implementing and evaluating clinical studies.
• Support day-to-day protocol execution from initiation to close-out.
• Recruit and screen participants for eligibility and retention activities.
• Perform study procedures and routine tests per protocol.
• Process specimens and ensure proper storage, labeling and shipping.
• Maintain and organize study binders and regulatory filings.
• Distribute study materials per PI instructions and credentials.
• Monitor and report adverse events and protocol deviations.
• Assist with protocol amendments under PI supervision.
• Provide orientation and training to study staff and clinical teams.
• Track progress and prepare progress reports for investigators.
• Coordinate communications with sponsors, data centers and collaborators.
• Ensure compliance with safety, ethics and regulatory standards.
• Support training, certifications and performance reviews for staff.
