Job summary

Baptist Memorial Health Care Corporation seeks a leader to manage and advance the genetics program for BMH Tipton and BCC. You will work with the Director of Genetic Counseling, the leadership team, physicians, and clinicians to align educational initiatives and clinical strategies.

You will coordinate genetic services across Cancer Centers, analyze patient care needs, and help standardize practice while building essential external partnerships in the communities served.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of Genetic Counseling experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in Medical/Human Genetics or related field.
• Certified Genetic Counselor preferred/licensure requirements regardless of state.

Responsibilities

• Manages and leads the genetics program at BMH Tipton and BCC.
• Collaborates with Director of Genetic Counseling, leadership, physicians and clinicians.
• Develops performance improvement strategies and communication plans for service delivery.
• Establishes external partnerships within communities served.
• Coordinates genetic counseling care across markets and standardizes clinical practice.
