Job summary

Sonora Quest Laboratories in Phoenix, AZ seeks a Genetics/Genomics Technologist II to perform CAP-compliant genetic testing including FISH, PCR, CMA, NGS and PGx. You will work on complex cases and support routine lab operations while mentoring newer staff.

Three years’ experience in genetics/genomics is preferred, with a Bachelor’s degree in medical laboratory science. ASCP certification is a plus; standard benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in medical laboratory science or equivalent CLIA-qualified four-year degree.
• Three years’ experience as a genetics/genomics technologist.

Responsibilities

• Perform genetic/genomic testing per CAP standards and ensure accurate results.
• Support routine casework and lab operations; assist newer staff.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and established procedures.
