Job summary

MaineHealth Cancer Risk & Prevention seeks a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide comprehensive genetic services in their outpatient clinic in Scarborough, ME. You will evaluate patients, establish diagnoses, coordinate and interpret genetic testing, and manage follow-up care for hereditary cancer risk in collaboration with a team of genetic counselors.

This is a multidisciplinary, patient-centered role with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Education: NP or PA program with a Master’s degree preferred.
• Ability to see patients of all ages.
• Current Maine NP or PA license; NP/PA certification; BLS required.
• Three+ years APP experience; oncology experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; proficient with EMR.

Responsibilities

• Provide cancer genetic services in outpatient clinic.
• Evaluate patients, establish diagnoses, coordinate/testing interpretation.
• Manage ongoing clinical care for hereditary cancer risk.
• Collaborate with genetic counselors and Breast Care team.
