Middlesex Health’s Comprehensive Breast Center is seeking a Genetic Counselor to provide risk assessment, education, counseling and psychological support to individuals and families at risk for hereditary cancer.

You will obtain family histories, interpret test results, discuss options, coordinate testing, and work with a multidisciplinary team to guide screening and prevention strategies.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in genetic counseling.
• Board certification by ABGC.
• Exceptional communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Obtain personal and family histories to assess cancer risk.
• Interpret genetic test results and provide post-test counseling.
• Discuss screening and prevention options based on guidelines.
• Coordinate genetic testing with informed consent and logistics.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and contribute to research.
