Qualifications

• The candidate is a nationally certified phlebotomist with strong venipuncture skills.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience (front or back office).
• Experience with insurance verification and prior authorizations is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation if travel is needed.

Responsibilities

• Guide patients through hereditary cancer genetic testing processes and educate on procedures.
• Coordinate scheduling, specimen collection, and follow-up with patients and partner sites.
• Perform venipuncture and collect blood specimens for testing.
• Ensure proper patient ID, labeling, handling, and transport of specimens.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant documentation in EMR/EHR systems.
