Job summary

Advanced Molecular Diagnostics is seeking a Medical Assistant to support a busy physician's office in genetic testing. You will interview patients, administer an iPad-based eligibility questionnaire, complete required paperwork, and collect a DNA sample (mouthwash) for testing. Training is provided and there is potential to transition to full-time employment.

Experience in a fast-paced office and strong patient interaction skills are required; certification is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Experience working with patients in a busy office.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Greet and interview every patient entering the office, using the iPad-based questionnaire to assess test eligibility.
• Fill out paperwork and collect the DNA sample (mouthwash swish) for genetic testing.
