Qualifications

• Master’s degree from an accredited genetic counseling program.
• State licensure as a Florida Genetic Counselor within one year of hire.
• ABGC certification or eligibility is required or anticipated.
• Current BLS Healthcare Provider Certification at hire or able to obtain prior to hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide genetic counseling services to patients and families in collaboration with medical geneticists and other healthcare professionals.
• Contribute to Master’s Degree Program in Genetic Counseling through coursework development and supervision of students.
• Engage in mentored or collaborative research focused on genetics, genomics, or genetic counseling practice.
