Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Genetic Counseling required.
• ABGC/CCGC Board Certification or eligibility required.
• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical expertise to laboratory staff and molecular geneticists with accessioning inquiries, test order modifications, and results interpretation.
• Collaborate with molecular geneticists and other departments to provide high quality, timely test results and to achieve organizational goals.
• Assist in writing marketing materials and website content, promoting the company at scientific meetings and conferences, and networking with other genetic counselors.
• Develop educational materials and provide public speaking for client and public education.
• Maintain professional certification through ongoing education.
• Support and implement Special Projects and train genetic counseling assistants.
