The role requires deep genetics knowledge, strong communication, and teamwork, with travel to meet clients and attend conferences as needed. Base pay is $61,300.00–$122,700.00 per year, with location-based variations.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Genetic Counseling is required.
• ABGC/CCGC board certification or eligibility.
• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Experience interpreting genetic test results and communicating findings.
• Ability to collaborate across laboratories and departments.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical expertise to laboratory staff and molecular geneticists on inquiries and test result interpretation.
• Collaborate with molecular geneticists to deliver timely test results and meet organizational goals.
• Assist in writing marketing materials and website content and represent the company at scientific meetings.
• Develop educational materials and present to educate clients and the public.
• Maintain professional certification through ongoing education.
• Support and oversee Special Projects intake and implementation.
• Train genetic counseling assistants as needed.
• Communicate complex information clearly to diverse audiences.
