Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical expertise to laboratory staff and molecular geneticists with accessioning inquiries, test order modifications, and results interpretation.
• Collaborate with molecular geneticists and other departments to provide high quality, timely test results and to achieve organizational goals.
• Contribute to marketing and business development by assisting in writing marketing materials and website content, promoting the company at scientific meetings and industry conferences, and networking with other genetic counselors.
• Support client and public education through the development of educational materials and public speaking.
• Maintain professional certification through ongoing education.
• Deep and broad knowledge of human genetics.
• Ability to tailor, translate, and communicate complex information in a simple, relevant way to a broad range of audiences.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Excellent verbal, nonverbal, and written communication skills.
