• Masters in Genetic Counseling or related field.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional genetic counseling and education to individuals and families at risk.
• Perform pedigree analyses and interpret genetic testing results.
• Coordinate consultative services with oncology and maternal-fetal medicine teams.
• Discuss testing benefits/risks and obtain informed consent where applicable.
• Follow up after testing for results disclosure and counseling.
• Supervise cancer risk analyst/staff assistant and manage a counseling plan using national guidelines.
