Job summary

Genesis of Downers Grove is seeking an experienced Genesis Sales Professional to drive customer satisfaction and achieve ambitious sales targets. As a Sales Associate, you’ll guide customers through vehicle selections, present options, and negotiate terms.

You will build lasting relationships, demonstrate product knowledge, and work with the Service Department to ensure ongoing loyalty. We offer competitive earnings, comprehensive training, and benefits.

Responsibilities

• Sales Process: Exhibit consultative selling skills and assist customers in selecting a vehicle by asking questions and listening carefully to their responses
• Build relationships: Nurture enriching relationships to build a strong client base
• Product Specialist: Know the ins and outs of product offerings, optional packages, and the latest technologies; perform high-quality, professional demonstrations of new/used vehicles
• Communication: Follow-up with buyers to ensure successful referral business
• Negotiation: Learn to overcome objections and thrive within sales situations
• Data and Reporting: Report directly to the Sales Manager regarding objectives, planned activities, reviews, and analysis.

As a Sales Associate, you’ll build rapport with customers to ensure customer satisfaction by guiding them in their vehicle purchases. Using excellent communication and listening skills, you will help customers select the right vehicle and negotiate payment terms to meet their lifestyle and budget. Lastly, you will drive customer loyalty by following up to make sure their experience is top-notch and help transition customers to the Service Department for their vehicle needs.

Compensation will be based on performance and experience; pay ranges may vary from displayed amounts *based on performance and location
