Job summary

Ed Napleton Automotive Group in Napleton Valley Genesis is seeking a Sales Consultant to assist customers, explain vehicle features, and guide them to the right purchase. This role involves delivering vehicles, following up with clients, and promoting a positive, long-term relationship.

The position offers a potential pay range of $75,000-$150,000 per year, including incentive-based pay, along with paid training, medical/dental/vision insurance, a 401K, and paid vacation.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Sales or Customer Service Experience.
• Minimum high school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Excellent customer service, organizational and negotiation skills.
• Self-motivated, goal orientated and enthusiastic presence in a team environment.
• Prior proven customer-service or retail sales experience.
• Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screen per local laws.

Responsibilities

• Assisting customers who enter the dealership, answering questions and helping them select a vehicle.
• Provide timely follow up and maintain strong relationships with customers.
• Explain product performance, options and benefits to prospects and describe all optional equipment.
• Deliver vehicles to customers and ensure understanding of features, warranty, and paperwork.
• Keep abreast of inventory, features, and how they benefit customers.
• Introduce customers to service department personnel and emphasize service quality.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assisting customers who enter the dealership, answering their questions and helping them select a vehicle that is right for their needs
• Provide timely follow up and maintain strong relationships with customers
• Explaining product performance, application and benefits to prospects and describing all optional equipment available for customer purchase. Determine each customer’s vehicle needs by asking questions and listening
• Deliver vehicles to customers. The delivery process ensures that the customer understands the vehicle’s operating features, warranty, and paperwork, and it lays the foundation for customer loyalty
• Keep abreast of incoming inventory, features, accessories, etc., and how they benefit customers
• Introduce customers to service department personnel to emphasize to them the quality and efficiency of service repairs and maintenance available in the dealership’s service department.
• Other duties as assigned by management

Job Requirements:

• 2+ years of Sales or Customer Service Experience
