Job summary

Generac Power Systems in Wisconsin is seeking a Tester to perform system tests, diagnose malfunctions, and coordinate with engineering and quality assurance to ensure production standards are met.

This role supports the Weekend Shift (Friday–Sunday, 5 AM–5 PM) with hourly pay, ranging from Tester I at $26.25 (includes $3 shift premium) to Tester III at $32.25, with responsibilities including maintenance, repairs, and process improvements.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Associates Degree or certification with 2–6 years experience preferred.
• Experience with SAP or ERP systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Resolve problems with assistance from peers or supervisor as needed.
• Learn the principles, practices, and processes in the function or discipline.
• Safely perform maintenance on equipment, buildings, and grounds.
• Assist with diagnosing and repairing complex equipment breakdowns.
• Suggest and implement improvements to equipment safety, quality, delivery and productivity.
• Assist in coordinating with engineering and QA on testing and validation.
