LONG ISLAND EMERGENCY POWER INC in Deer Park, NY is seeking an experienced and hardworking mechanic for a full-time position. The role focuses on maintenance and repair of generators and engines, with emphasis on reliability and safe operation.

You will work outdoors year-round, occasionally OT, and have opportunities for training and certifications. A clean driver’s license is required and training will be provided to qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Experience working with generators.
• Experience working with engines.
• Must be reliable, responsible and punctual.
• Mechanical or engine knowledge preferred.
• Must be technical and mechanically inclined.
• Training and certifications are a plus.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be willing to work outdoors year round and in inclement weather.
• Occasional overtime may be required.
• Must have a clean driver's license to operate company vehicle.
• Will provide paid training and/or certification
